Action fantasy tale about a wise-cracking trucker who attempts to rescue his friend's fiance from a 2000 year-old magician who lives beneath San Francisco's Chinatown. He must battle demons, goblins and other terrors as he makes his way through the magician's dark domain. An excellent chop suey movie, very funny, highly entertaining and probably way ahead of it's time.

Harry's adoptive family are still as revolting as ever so our hero is considerably keener than your average 12-year-old to get back to school and when the nervous self harming elf Dobby appears in his bedroom to warn him against returning, Harry is having none of it. 'Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets' sticks firmly to the format that the first film established, the special effects are great and some of the new creatures are genuinely scary but once again the enthralling simplicity of JK R find out more...

Harry and the gang return to Hogwarts and must prepare themselves not only for the inevitable battle with Lord Voldemort, but the beaurocratic and paranoid ‘Ministry of Magic', who have appointed Dolores Umbridge as the school's ‘Defence Against The Dark Arts Professor' purely so that she can suppress an imagined rebellion against the ministry by leaving the pupils powerless. Story has been wandering the dark passageways beneath the swimming pool of a non-descript apartment block, attempting to evade roaming monsters and return to her alternative universe, but she needs a guardian from our world and hopes that she has found it in the form of unprepossessing Cleveland Heep. 'Lady in The Water' is the latest spooky mystery from M Night Shyamalan (he of ‘Sixth Sense'), slow and overwrought, but not without atmosphere. find out more...

Jack's back after an unholy union of ‘friends' and rogues save him from Davey Jones' locker. In this final instalment the pirates must form an unlikely brotherhood to defend their carefree existence from the dastardly and ruthless British. Unfortunately for us this means a whole wad of Keira Knightley, she even gives a rousing speech to the rabble before battle, a delivery that brings to mind one of those handbag dogs being garrotted by its own collar. An enormous running time, a god awful score find out more...
