When their sailing holiday is interrupted by the sole survivor of a sinking schooner the high seas turn to terror for a husband and wife. His story of sickness and death is really of madness and murder and they must now throw their all into a battle to survive. It's of the intrepid city adventurers up against in-bred redneck natives mould and the rednecks have the natural advantage, being both horribly cruel and at home in the woods. Nemo is a clown fish and the only son of his over protective father; when the young lad is whisked a way by a scuba diver, his dad sets out on an adventure across the seas to find him, aided only by spectacularly forgetful regal blue tang called Dory. Finding Nemo has some great scenes, the vegan sharks and hippy turtles are amongst the highlights, but though visually stunning, as you would expect from Pixar, it lacks the sly but unobtrusive wit that made Toy Story and its sequel such a delight

With no personal bias whatsoever you quite simply have to see this film. Fabulous special effects and superbly theatrical acting, this Greek myth is a hugely entertaining adventure romp, replete with multi-headed Hydras, warrior skeletons and bronze gods. Suspend disbelief and enjoy.
