A comet hurtles into the earth, but rather than being dead rock it begins to evolve at a fantastical pace (while taking some serious liberties with Darwinism) and only two rather inept college professors seem to have any idea how to stop the alien life form before it takes over the world. Evolution is Si-Fi, action, comedy which concentrates on wit of the lowest common denominator, but as long as you're fine with that, sit back, giggle a bit and enjoy the spectacular special effects.
