Adapted from a John Le Carre novel we follow Harry Pendel, an ex-con turned tailor to Panama's wealthy, as he falls further and further into a nightmare of his own making, spinning increasingly fictitious stories to a ruthless and amoral British spy, who relays these "truths" to his bosses, so setting in motion a chain of events that could destroy the idyllic world Harry has built for himself and his family. The Tailor of Panama looks good, with good performances from the main cast, but in an attempt to keep as much of the plot in as is possible, we the audience are left wondering what exactly happened and why we feel so sleepy.
