A curious but not unappealing blend of martial arts and western, finds the ubiquitous Jackie Chan as a Chinese Imperial guard hotfooting it to America in search of the kidnapped princess Pei Pei. On his journeys he hooks up with outlaw Roy, who's general attitude to life seems more reminiscent of a Californian surfer dude than a cowboy. This mismatched duo, each with their own agenda merrily crash their way through one peace of scenery after another in this engaging action comedy.
