Rachel invites everyone except Ross on a skiing trip, which, strangely, upsets Chandler most of all as it reminds him of his parents' divorce. Phoebe is beside herself when her brother decides to marry a woman twice his age. Rachel tries to help Chandler quit smoking, but gives him a hypnosis tape designed for women which makes him undergo a strange transformation. Ross finds the truth hard to face when Rachel returns all his gear, and Phoebe dates a nice, funny, and extremely rich guy but doesn't fancy him. C'mon girl, what more d'you want?! Joey fancies a girl he's rehearsing with but it's a case of unrequited love. But he shags her anyway. Meanwhile, Ross's boss goes on a date with Chandler.
