Monica bumps into ex-squeeze Richard (Tom Selleck) and they decide to do the civilized thing and become platonic friends. Trouble is, nobody told them there's no such thing! Phoebe's ex-singing partner wants to use "Smelly Cat" for a really crap TV commercial, and Ross goes all green when Rachel goes out with an ex-workmate. Chandler, meanwhile, meets a gorgeous girl with a wooden leg. Ross, having broken up with Rachel, rebounds straight into the arms of Chloe from the copy centre, and Phoebe becomes entangled with a foreign diplomat. Finally Rachel, blissfully unaware of Ross's fling, decides to declare her undying love for him, but she's in for a wee surprise.
