Jules Verne's classic tale of a stiff upper-lipped English, Victorian gent, played by Pierce Brosnan, who bets that he can circle the globe in 80 days. In Part 1 he evades the French Revolution, crosses the Alps, rescues a beautiful Indian princess, is captured by Burmese pirates....excellent.
