Julian is boyish, sensual, speaks 5/6 languages, and is a gigolo. But when a client is found murdered, and her missing jewels turn up in his car, he realises he's been framed. Part thriller, part American malaise and very stylish - Gere's suits, the soundtrack and camera work. Entertaining.
