Kelly is a prostitute for whom life is a constant struggle. After escaping from a cruel pimp who shaves off her hair she flees to a small town and starts a new life with a job in a hospital, but there, a doomed romance leads to murder and Kelly's lurid past comes back to haunt her. Black and white.
