On the outskirts of Cleveland, Troy, a gig fixer, is just released from prison and being the last one from the gang who got out, he is about to reunite with his old posse, Mad Dog, his unstable prison buddy and a loose cannon, and Diesel, the muscle of the team. With already two previous convictions and California's three-strikes law threatening to send them back to jail for good, the odd gang is treading on thin ice, nevertheless, they all desperately need some serious dough and the next big, grown-up job that will set them up for life. Soon, opportunity knocks when the well-connected El Greco brings Troy and his boys in touch with Chepe, the drug lord, who hires them to kidnap a baby for ransom.
