When five people are gunned down by a sniper all the evidence points to someone who swears he's innocent, his only words “Get Reacher”. A big budget adaptation of Lee Child’s best selling crime novels starring the ‘above the law’ ex-military investigator, this, sadly, is something of a mess. Plenty of action and a suitably square jawed turn from Tom Cruise still can’t save it from being all a bit dull.
