'A Town Called Panic' is a highly amusing full-length adaptation of a Belgian TV series created by Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar. The plot revolves around Cowboy and Indian, whose plans to surprise housemate Horse with a birthday gift backfire when they destroy his house instead. The trio travel to the centre of the earth, trek across frozen tundra and discover a parallel underwater universe. Many delights are to be found in the homemade style of the animation and the improvised feel to the film; an impressive feat in the world of meticulously planned animations.
