How far does macho male bonding go? Well take 'the laidback, stunted heroes of a Judd Apatow comedy and strand them in the too-cool-for-school environs of a zero-budget mumblecore romance? Artist Andrew has been living a spirited life so when he turns up at old college mate Ben's gaff, he derides him for his white picket fence life-style.To save Ben from marital castration Andrew drags him off to meet some bohemian friends and, whilst drunk (I guess very, very drunk), they agree to take part in a local art festival called Hump Fest... filmed as a pair of straight guys getting it on. This amiable indie flick, winner of the Sundance Film Festival 'Special Jury Prize for Spirit of Independence', was adored by the critics, but, sadly, not by the general public. We suggest you make your own mind up by watching it.
