When Skeeter Bronson baby-sits his sister's children, his imagination runs wild as he dreams up elaborate bedtime stories, always casting himself as the hero. Entranced, the children add their own ideas to these once-upon-a-time tales of heroics and chivalry; but as is always the way with any Disney film worth its salt, Skeeter's fantasies begin to take on real form, hurling the amiable loser into a rip-roaring adventure and the hunt for his own happy ending.
