A plucky little mouse, Despereaux, with enormous ears and an even bigger heart is obsessed with stories of chivalrous knights. Banished to the dungeon by his fellow rodents for speaking to a human princess the fearless little fur ball embarks upon a real life quest of his own: to save a princess in peril. 'The Tale of Despereaux' is an undemanding, but likeably harmless, children's animated fantasy adventure with some top drawer animation.
