Set in a post-nuclear war, (El Paso and Abilene, Texas got whacked), futuristic Los Angeles run by a totalitarian military-industrial-media complex which refuses to move on from the oil of which it is starved. Over the course of three days we watch the city through the eyes of initially disparate characters as it teeters on the brink of social, economic and environmental disaster; holes have been ripped in the fabric of space and time.
