Shizuku is spending her last summer vacation in junior high school, reading and translating lyrics of popular foreign music into Japanese, daydreaming of becoming a writer. Lately she finds that all the books she chooses in the library have been previously checked out by the same boy, Seiji Amasawa - Shizuku wonders what kind of guy he is, never guessing it could be the obnoxious young lad she's had the displeasure of bumping into.
