When special agent Frank Castle's life is destroyed by ruthless money launderer, Howard Saint, he does what any self-respecting man would do; he dyes his hair black, gets a penchant for tight t-shirts and leather, takes brooding to a level that makes Schwartzenneger look effervescent and kills anyone in a sharp suit who attempts to look harder than he is. Taken from the comic book vigilante this is yet another ill advised attempt to bring 'The Punisher' to the big screen; leaden, humourless and weirdly sporadic in the action set pieces, on the bright side it's still considerably better than ‘Catwoman'.
