Join a bunch of obsessed skaters on a road trip to scout out the best pool-riding experiences to be had in America. In addition to excellent, gritty super 8 footage of incredible skating, the film also provides a glimpse of the extreme lengths the pool junkies will go to in order to ride a long deserted pool. After cleaning out decades of muck with a minimum of gear the skaters simply zone out the less appealing nature of some of the environments: the dilapitated Salton Sea area, replete with an infestation of flies around the pool, would surely test anyone's commitment to their sport. The meeting with, and footage of legendary pool riding originator, Tony Alva is worth the admission price alone. If you skate this is exhilarating stuff, if you don't it's still fascinating to watch.
