A classic slice of Hitchcock from the early fifties finds the roly-poly genius at his most mischievous. In a bid to save her 'friend' from being convicted of murder Eve takes a job as an assistant to eccentric theatre diva Charlotte Inwood, but the closer Eve gets to uncovering the truth the more dangerous she discovers life on the stage can be. A deliciously tongue in cheek, over wrought whodunnit.
