Monica goes shopping with the floozy but daren't tell Rachel, and Joey is humiliated by a fellow aftershave salesman. Phoebe's husband makes an unexpected appearance. The friends fall out over Ross's birthday party, & Monica is promoted. Joey & Chandler lose a baby on the bus, & Phoebe loses her singing job, only to be replaced by a superstar. Rachel finds out something she'd rather not know about Ross & Monica's boss gives her grief.
