Matt Whitlock is the head of police in a quiet Florida community, he's a firm but fair kind of guy and all the locals think he's great. Unfortunately a double murder leaves Matt with only one suspect, himself, and so begins an increasingly desperate search for the real culprit, before the ever expanding evidence against him becomes impossible to hide from his otherwise clueless colleagues. Out Of Time is a slick sweaty thriller, and though the join the dots plot and heavily sign-posted twists don't help things, it keeps the pace going right up to the closing minutes.
