Hmmm. What to make of this? Without comparing it to the Simpsons... The humour is very dry and cynical and slightly 'druggier' than its Springfield based counterpart, just as its storylines are slightly more adult. In the box for satirical animation, there is scarcely any space unfilled by the behemoth that is the The Simpsons. However, Family Guy manages to find some room to manoevure, at times featuring some inspired comic moments, most of which come from the dog 'Brian' and baby Stewie, whose barely concealed plans for world domination act as a catalyst for most of the show. Relies a bit too much on sarcasm for my liking though...
