The second installment in the series kicks off with 'Selfless', in which Buffy and Anya finally must face off against each other (well, never was there much love lost) after Anya kills most of a campus frat house. Buffy realises the demon in Anya is stronger than the human, and therefore she must be killed. In 'Him', all the Scooby girls fall in love with the same high school student and must unravel his web of seduction before their obsession puts them all in serious danger. The underground menace begins to show itself slowly to the gang in 'Conversations With Dead People', as Buffy, Dawn and Willow each face figures from their past, and the remaining twosome from the 'evil trio' return to Sunnydale, hoping to right their wrongs. In 'Sleeper', Buffy must question Spike's behaviour when a number of people (mainly women!) in Sunnydale begin to vanish and re-appear somewhat undead ...
