Claire is a high powered attorney married to the perfect new age hubby who dabbles in the genteel world of antiques, but when said hubby is arrested for the murder of innocent civilians during a covert military operation a decade earlier Claire is understandably non-plussed. With the help of a canny but alcoholic ex-military lawyer she sets about proving her husband's innocence, but in doing so Claire's about to unearth a cover-up that will jeopardise both herself and all that she holds dear. High Crimes is a slick Hollywood thriller, predictable but pacey and tense enough to keep you undemandingly entertained for a couple of hours.
