A group of six New Yorkers unknowingly interrelated and all in search of love, or certainly a relationship, or at the very least sex. "Sidewalks Of New York" is a knowingly cynical comedy drama set around the fickleness of our passions and playing like a Woody Allen movie. What it lacks in his genius (and there are some pretty contrived links) is softened by the lack of relentless self-obsessed angst. An entertainingly honest (if not embittered) depiction of l'amour.
