Dick knows there is more for him than the depressed mining town he’s grown up in can offer, but with no prospects on the horizon and most of the people seeing him as a slightly freaky oddball, Dick's opportunities are slim. The highly eccentric and totally brilliant Alexandro Jodorowsky doesn't make films like anybody else. Directed, written by and starring the man himself "El Topo" is a violent, surreal, quasi-religious Western, if that makes sense (which like the film it doesn't).
