A masterful adaptation of David Peace's Ellroy-esque noir trilogy. In '1974', the first chapter, a rookie journalist looks to solve the increasingly vexing case of a serial killer on the loose. A bleak vision of corruption in an emphatically isolated 'North', which raises the game for levels of darkness in TV drama. Andrew Garfield gives a captivating performance as the idealistic journalist in way over his head. Highly recommended. find out more...

It's been two years since a pair of psycho serial killers terrorised the small town of Woodsboro, the events have been immortalised in new horror film "Stab", and terminally unlucky teen-scream-queen Sidney (Neve Campbell) has taken up film studies, natch, at college. But during a premiere of the movie at Sidney's local cinema (in an opening sequence which almost rivals the original) a member of the audience meets a gruesomely untimely end, heralding another couple of hours of murder and mayhem find out more...

This third instalment of Scream is "apparently" the final chapter, but with that sneaky old bastard Wes Craven at the helm this is probably just the final chapter of the first book in a series of six! What's left of the severely decimated posse of Woodsboro are drawn out of seclusion by a number of deaths on the set of 'Stab 2', the new Hollywood movie based around the original killings, which as you may suspect is a fatal mistake for many concerned. find out more...

A serial killer has been killing beautiful women in New York, and the new owner of a media company offers a high ranking job to the first journalist who can get the earliest scoop on the case.
A tense drama that shows just how dark a Fritz Lang can be. Similar in tone to Billy Wilder's Ace In The Hole, which we also stock.

ZODIAC (2007)

A suspenseful documentation of the search for Zodiac killer, who made the headlines with his apparently random killings and his coded messages to the press as to his identity, whilst killing with impunity, largely in the San Francisco Bay area of Northern California, in the 1970s. The story follows that of puzzle solver and cartoonist Robert Graysmith and is reflected in the somewhat amateurish, if occasionally compulsive, efforts of various resource stretched California police units. find out more...
