The definitive 'Apocalypse Now' (as if the original wasn't pretty definitive) this has nearly an hour of extra footage fleshing out the surreal journey of our central protagonists and, though it brings the film to a whisker short of three and a half hours, much of it explains what happens to the eclectic characters we meet. The cut version of 'Apocalypse Now' stands as one of the most awesome films of modern cinema, anyone who has seen it will inevitably see it again, it's just that now you have find out more...

One of the most spectacular epics of all time, even by the standards of Hollywood, the famous twenty minute chariot race alone took three months to shoot, and, along the way, Ben is given a helping hand and converted by Jesus. An unmissable slice of movie history. Won Best Picture at 1959 Academy Awards. find out more...

Huge epic, set during the heyday of Republican Rome, in all its ostentatious glory. The story details the purchase and selection of slaves, the harsh discipline and routine of the gladiators' school, the new comradeship balked by the realisation that a gladiator must kill or be killed. Then the film really comes into its own with the superbly staged revolt and escape, led by the slave who, with his unlikely army, holds the Roman army at bay for four years. Magnificent, masterful....a classic! find out more...

South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker offend everyone from the neo-conservative Bush administration to the Hollywood liberal mouthpieces as they set about defending the world from villains, despots and anyone else who offends their gung-ho sensibilities. So it's goodbye to the reds, the mullahs and the bleeding heart liberals – bye-bye Paris, bye-bye the Pyramids, and bye-bye WMD toting Arabs. Team America is a work of utterly over the top genius, crass, tacky, neon-lit, pom-pom-waving find out more...

A superb action packed thriller with Ford as the hounded Dr Kimble who, wrongly convicted of murdering his wife, escapes from a prison bus and tries to find out why she was killed and who the murderer really was.
