Cleveland, 1978 and four teenagers plan a trip to Detroit to see their favourite band KISS in concert. Unfortunately for Lex (Andrews), Jam (Huntington), Hawk (Furlong) and Trip (De Bello), Jam's 'up tight' mother has learned of their little scheme and has burned their tickets.
