Attenborough's deeply moving film of the life of CS Lewis. Hopkins is peerless as the quiet author and Oxford don whose world is overturned by the brash, vivacious Joy Gresham (the brilliant Winger). Her decline into illness sees Lewis open his heart for the first time. Stunning and emotional drama.

THE DUCHESS (2008)

Georgiana was the innocent young breeding filly the politically powerful Lord Devonshire needed to continue his family dynasty. This is her story; of living powerlessly alongside the Duke and his mistress, of her true love and of her rise to being an important powerbroker amid Britain's ruling elite. An awesomely likeable costume drama with obvious latter day parallels.

Wyatt Earp and his gang are back. Yet another shoot-out at the OK Corral, but this time that's not the end as the film follows the two sides to the death. A well made and gripping film with the show somewhat stolen by Val Kilmer as a dandy Doc Holliday, shooting first, quoting Latin later! Superb rootin' tootin' entertainment .
