It was the beginning of the 20th Century when the young and still unacknowledged James Joyce met the strong and forthright country lass Nora. Joyce fell in love, as did she, but his frustration, jealousy and inner demons constantly threatened to pull them apart. Nora is a passionate and absorbing film, with some fine performances.
