An enjoyable adaption of Helen Fielding's bestselling book. We follow our heroine on her increasingly desperate search for someone to love who loves her right back and whose closet merely houses clothes rather than skeletons. 'Bridget Jones's Diary' is a fun and slick romantic comedy very much in the tradition of Notting Hill. find out more...

Six women seek love marriage and companionship in this sweet-natured tale set round a beauty salon in Beirut. Beautiful young Nisrine is engaged to headstrong Bassam, but is worried about not being the virgin she's supposed to be. Divorced, middle-aged, part-time model Jamale fears the process of ageing. Quiet Rima seems more attracted by other girls, particularly Siham, a client who flirts with her. An excellent film about 4 women, (virgin, wife/mother, widow and divorcee), who are close-knit friends. Bonny Johnny Bon Jovi is the widow's first crumpet, (can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em), and he stirs up the household in this comic, saccharine free emotional tale. Great script and performances. find out more...

Small-town girl Muriel is fat, frumpy, belittled by friends and family and absolutely desperate to get married. When she seizes a chance to hit the bright lights of Sydney, she's well on the way to changing her own destiny. Wickedly funny and often cruelly sad, but always hugely enjoyable. A delight! find out more...

Now in their 40s and 50s (eek how time flies!) and full of self-pity, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha take time off from their ever so daunting life problems for a quick trip to Abu Dhabi, where they blatantly fart in the face of local values.
Not exactly an advert for feminism, but many of you fans of the series and the first film will want to see what happened next. find out more...

Martin Naranjo is a chef par excellence, a perfectionist and an artist when it comes to food. Martin's personal life however is a slightly less ordered affair as he struggles to deal with the unexpected, though welcome, advances of his neighbour and the constant revelations of his three adult daughters. Tortilla Soup is an enjoyable sweet natured comedy drama, though Ang lee's "Eat Drink Man Woman", upon which this is based, is still the most delicious and delicate of the two. find out more...

A delightful romantic comedy drama starring Hepburn as a razor sharp political pundit and Tracy as a ‘say it as I think it' sportswriter, a pairing that's chalk and cheese in both mind and body. Whimsically perceptive genius. find out more...
