When serial killer Gabriel Engel is captured a rural cop travels to the big city to question him about an unsolved murder in his home village, but finds himself being drawn deeper and deeper into a psychological game of cat-and-mouse that threatens his sanity, his faith and the lives of those he loves the most. The comparisons to 'Silence of the Lambs' are inevitable and even explicitly recognised within the film but, those similarities aside, 'Antibodies' is a gripping thriller with memorable p find out more...

Let's be honest, you either love or hate cinema's infamous enfant terrible, Lars von Trier. Those of you who love him you will find ‘Antichrist' his most entertaining and beautifully orchestrated work to date. Layered, witty and wryly tongue-in-cheek at every turn, ‘Antichrist' is brutal, honest and intelligent in both its observation of human emotion and in its exploration of a life riddled with love, loss and psychosis. Keanu Reeves plays a hotshot young lawyer (and he's not half bad, either!) in this curious cocktail of courtroom thriller and occult chiller. Fresh from the Southern states to start a plum new job in a high-flying New York practice, young Keanu foolishly fails to recognise that jovial new boss Al Pacino is, in fact, none other than the Prince of Darkness. This despite a trail of diabolically obvious clues which are all but written in blood for him. The wildly unbelievable plot drags on for just find out more...

The original prequel that was shelved in favour of the Renny Harlin abomination follows a similar narrative with a young Father Merrin fighting Pazuzu in the heart of post-WW2 colonial Africa. More atmospheric and without as many truely hokey special effects as 'The Beginning' but still nothing to write home about. find out more...
