One of the BBC's exhaustive and exemplary adaptations of one of the great Bard's lesser known works. Jonathan Pryce is wonderful as Timon, turning seamlessly from generous, open-hearted fool to twisted, unhappy beggar. John Shrapnel is about the best of the rest, although all are good within the constraints of their character types.
