A scientific expedition sniffing around in the Amazon awaken the interest of a man in a rubber suit, who proceeds to stalk, kill and kidnap (he's infatuated with the pretty female on board) expedition members.
'Creature From the Black Lagoon' endures as a classic icon from 50s B-movie sci-fi/horror flicks. Every decent DVD library should have this even if it never rents.

Set during the American civil war (just), a group of men and women find themselves stranded (Robinson Crusoe-style) on an uncharted island populated by a plethora of larger than life beasties, their only hope of escape the enigmatic and elusive peacenik, Captain Nemo. Based on a Jules Verne adventure, Mysterious Island is classic Harryhausen territory, great fun, dire dialogue and inspired stop go animation.

Earth is facing imminent annihilation from outer space and only Admiral Nelson and the crew of the nuclear submarine 'SeaView' have any chance of putting the world to rights, but before they save our worthless hides they must battle huge underwater beasties, and copious amounts of baddies. Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea is classic boys' own adventure, overly dramatic, often cheesy, but hugely entertaining.
