One family's somewhat unconventional lifestyle is shaken to the core when the long abandoned motorway, beside which they happily and freely live in isolation, is finally opened. As their way of life is threatened and their relationships with one another are severely tested their entire concept of 'home' is challenged. A remarkably honest film with outstanding performances from its lead cast, specifically Isabelle Huppert and Olivier Gourmet. A rare gem. find out more...

A zany chase movie with starring or cameo roles for almost every US comedian of the age...and Terry Thomas. Lots of people have access to a buried treasure map and fight like dogs, in a disaster-plagued race to get there first. A vast improvement on 'Bean The Ultimate Disaster Movie' and an obvious homage to Jacques Tati; Mr Bean wins a holiday to the South of France, but through a combination of gross stupidity and mean spiritedness, his trip becomes an episodic and disaster strewn journey to reunite a young boy with his father and get his video diary premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. What can I say, if you like him you really like him, if you don't…..you really, really don't. find out more...

Bilbo Baggins leaves the cosy comfort of Hobbitsville for an epic adventure to return the kingdom of Erebor to the Dwarfs. It takes a bit of time to get going, but once everyone’s been introduced, Peter Jackson’s shameless three part adaptation of a 300 page book oozes with high end CGI bang and dazzle. Perfect big budget fluff.

The Mitchells vs the Machines is a ridiculously fun and thought-provoking satire on how humanity has become over-reliant on technology, so much so that a simple dinner conversation with your family has become a rare occurrence.
