Scrooge is a miserly old businessman in 1840's London. One Christmas Eve he is visited by the ghost of Marley, his dead business partner. Marley foretells that Scrooge will be visited by three spirits, each of whom will attempt to show Scrooge the error of his ways. Will Scrooge reform his ways in time to celebrate Christmas?

Jack Nicholson steals the show, though, with a superbly over the top Joker (the casting department really worked overtime on that one...), and they battle it out amongst a frenzy of special effects. Highly enjoyable, don't miss it.

He must battle demons, goblins and other terrors as he makes his way through the magician's dark domain. An excellent chop suey movie, very funny, highly entertaining and probably way ahead of it's time.

A romantic novelist gets caught up in the kind of exotic plot she could well have written herself. This does not help her, however, to cope any better with snakes, mudslides and treasure-maps, and the man she is forced to share these with. A truly old-fashioned adventure, and highly entertaining.
