The classic tale of a poverty stricken young woman who charmed her way into the Russian royalty posing as princess Anastasia. This adaptation does little to dispel or answer the mystery surrounding the fate of the last Russian princess, but it is a lush and compelling drama.

Unfortunately she fell in love, and married, the wrong man; handsome, urbane but inept gambler Nick. Streisand won the best actress Oscar in this classic musical.
