A classy, if predictably cynical re-boot of the X-Men franchise finds us at the birth of the freaks with ‘powers’ as they save the world from a cold war Armageddon and decide whether they’re against humanity or with it. A descent script, a good cast..and a very large budget, make X Men First Class good expendable fun. Though at over two hours.....Mmmm.
