Father's news of his transfer to the wild and heady world of New York in 1903 has love-struck teenager Garland upset, as this will mean a forced seperation from her loved-one. So much for plot, but who cares, from the Technicolor cinematography and set decoration to the costumes and musical score, this one is a winner.
