With the Jack Donaghy as Vice President of East Coast Television, played by Alec Baldwin, Series four sustains the same standard that has maintained it so far with plenty of exceptional moments. The characters are still all hugely dysfunctional and written with enormous affection and comic effect. The situations beautifully constructed. Featuring the talents of Simon Pegg, Kevin Eldon, Julia Davis and Mark Heap, the show contains material by Chris Morris too. It's a bit hit and miss but fans of this sort of comedy (a bit like Spaced, Jam, The Day Today...) will find enough to get happy about.
