Slated by critics and fans alike on its release, this has ended up being one of the more imaginative and interesting sequels to the ubiquitous franchise. Number 3 in the long franchise of Freddie films is set in a secure medical facility where traumatised teens with a morbid fear of sleep are counselled and doped up by sceptical adults. Hmmmm, if I tell you a group of attractive young things miraculously survive a terrible rollercoaster tragedy, you can probably guess (this being the third in the franchise) what happens next. Yup the grim reaper is on the war path and determined to punish the ‘survivors' with the most grizzly ‘accidents' he can think of. Though definitely a case of diminishing returns Final Destination 3 still throws up enough ingenious tongue in cheek deaths to keep the ride on the rails (sorry). find out more...
