The Trinity Assembly of God Church in Texas has created it's own alternative to the haunted house of dishevelled fair grounds. ‘The Hell House', a comparatively lavish production of horrors, but crucially, ones here on earth; abortions, AIDS, drugs, rape. Everything gets the faithful's naïve but graphic interpretation. Ratliff's documentary is an admirably unbiased look at an agonisingly myopic and intolerant world view, but his skill as an observer leaves you almost as sympathetic for the prota find out more...

When "I Think We're Alone Now" made 16-year-old Tiffany an overnight sensation in 1987, her future looked bright. Then her career pretty much stalled. Not that Jeff, 53, or Kelly, 34, care: the former believes Tiffany is his saviour, the latter that they are destined to be together. Both are clearly stalkers, but neither realises it: Jeff because he has Asperger's, intersex Kelly because he/she is deluded and desperate. Sad, and somewhat disturbing viewing, this remains a compelling piece of wor find out more...

Jack Johnson's first break into the public music arena was when his composition 'Rodeo Clowns' was chosen to be G-ILove and Special Sauce's first single off their 1999 album 'Philadelphonic'. A must-see for anyone with an interest in 'Tourettes Syndrome'. find out more...

The follow-up to the astounding ‘Paradise Lost’. More and more, especially forensic, evidence comes to light that the non-existent case against the 3 is just that. Much of the film focuses on the prime alternative suspect, the step-father of one of the murdered children, a dangerously barking Church-going redneck, but the rightwing local state bureaucracy don't want to know, they've already got their man (sorry children). Damien, Jason and Jessie have matured visibly in prison, with Damien perha find out more...

70's super groupie Cynthia hit on a novel idea, plaster caster the penises of the rock gods (her most famous conquest being Jimi Hendrix) and while a strangely fascinating trawl through Cynthia's memories, her continued predilection is slightly agonising, not helped by the fact she's such a life casualty. Intriguing and bizarre but it's a long journey to reach the over two hours length…Phhhhnaaaa…get it? No?...probably for the best. find out more...

US comedian Bill Maher travels the world, with a metaphoric blunderbuss, to mock religious zealots by allowing them to spout quixotically outlandish pieces of madness/religion and to point out some of the logical absurdities in their beliefs. Some of the victims are purely nuts, but most represent the views of mainstream sects, only a Vatican priest really saves the day for God with a humourous scepticism about the whole nature of fundamentalism. The destinations include Jerusalem, the Vatican, find out more...
