A far cry from the perfect movie, Kingsman is at least a pleasant surprise. When Colin Firth heads to the council estate to recruit a young lad for a top secret military project it looks like class war is on the agenda. But, with occasional and somewhat shocking violent outbursts as well as pithy scripting at every turn, Kingsman: The Secret Service is an enjoyable romp. Popcorn entertainment of the highest order, this film puts the Bond franchise to shame.
