DEADPOOL (2016)

Certification15 Our Rating

Deadpool is not a superhero, he's a guy with a grudge who just so happens to have super accelerated healing powers. Experiment gone wrong kind of thing. Consequently he's crass, crude and often downright offensive. He breaks the fourth wall and doesn't just cross the line - no, this is a character who vomits all over it. With relish. Too sexist for my liking, but apparently it's a hit with teenage boys.

Everyone's favourite friendly neighbourhood serial killer is back for another season. Though sadly, after having killed the only person who could ever truly understand him, Dexter finds himself having even greater difficulty relating to the people that surround him, and what's worse, he's lost his nerve to kill. 'Dexter' Season 2 is easily as brilliant as Season 1; an intelligent, charming, witty and highly-addictive television drama. find out more...

Barry Ryan is the main man; there isn't a dodgy deal or crooked enterprise that doesn't ultimately answer to him. This being Australia there's been nobody to really stand in his way, but when the Mafia arrive looking for an easy sweep Barry finds his amoral cunning pushed to its very limits. Dirty Deeds is an entertaining gangster comedy, with a few scenes of hard arsed brutality thrown in just so you know who you're dealing with. find out more...
DOGHOUSE (2009)

Six mates decide to take their depressed, recently divorced buddy to the countryside for a lads' only weekend away. Unfortunately they choose a small village over-run by man-hating cannabalistic zombie women. Armed only with a set of golf clubs the boys hack and slash their way through the night in a desperate attempt to stay alive till morning. 'Doghouse' is a film willfully (gleefully?) designed to bring out the outraged feminist in even the meakest of women and, as a bloke, I'm quite happy to find out more...
