Deadpool is not a superhero, he's a guy with a grudge who just so happens to have super accelerated healing powers. Experiment gone wrong kind of thing. Consequently he's crass, crude and often downright offensive. He breaks the fourth wall and doesn't just cross the line - no, this is a character who vomits all over it. With relish. Too sexist for my liking, but apparently it's a hit with teenage boys.
