When Walter Armbruster arrives in Italy to claim his dad's body, it soon becomes apparent that the archetypal patriarch had been leading a double life. Wilder's screenplay sparkles as do the three central characters, so a big thumbs-up for this sadly underrated comic masterpiece.

CHARADE (1963)

An all-star cast hunts a fortune reportedly stashed by Hepburn's now dead, thieving husband.
