The boys behind Daft Punk move into experimental art house cinema with this their directorial debut about two robots (oh yes) on a quest to become human. An intriguing, though perhaps not entirely successful, labour of love that, though with a frustratingly small amount of their own fine music, boasts an excellent soundtrack from Mayfield, Eno, Haydn and Chopin.
